So last night was the official opening of I Love You Because. There is something fulfilling and amazing in seeing the culmination of weeks of hard work. I worked very hard on the props, and Darcy Evans, Lily Ling, Scott Penner, and Amy Tipton all worked amazingly hard on the directing, music, set, and stage management respectively. Everything came together so well. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the end result of all everybody on the team did.
The audience was full last night. We were officially sold out. Everybody who came to see the show laughed at all the right places, applauded with gusto, and seemed to really enjoy themselves. We got such a warm reception from everybody who was there. The cast was in fine form, singing and acting their hearts out on stage. I loved being able to see it all from the audience's perspective. I am definitely going to go back again.
